Darwin award??
I think I need a Darwin award!
For those of you who read my last entry, you would know that there have been some mysterious happenings regarding my mobile phone account.
Well, when I received a letter from AAMI last night, telling me that I hadn’t paid my car insurance, it all became crytsal clear. The answer is that I’m a moron.
I’d paid my car insurance money into my phone account.
DER!!!
For those of you who are familiar with, or can imagine, my financial situation, you would know that this would have caused me considerable distress.
But, in a stroke of lucky fate (if such a thing exists, ‘lucky’ fate that is), my scholarship top-up came through today and I can pay off about 70% of my debts!!
YEY!!!
Off to a dinner tonight with the cast of The Hollow Crown, a RSC production starring Sir Derek Jacobi & Co. Should be fun, but I couldn’t possibly comment!
