Steady…

Things are rolling along nicely, although I’ve been a bit sick recently.
My projects is cruising along, getting ready for a pilot study in a couple of weeks. Should be good to finally get out and catch some fishes.
I’ve also started my lit review, which is a big mental barrier - so that’s good too.

Cape Tribulation Almost.

I just went to the Cape, almost. Actually we fell a few kilometres short at the Canopy Crane, a huge construction crane in the middle of the rainforest.

Heading up north for a few days with another student and a visiting prof. We’re leaving tommorrow for Cairns (via the Mulgrave) and will stop in at the Canopy crane on thursday. Then up to Cape Trib. and back via the tablelands. Should be great. I’ll post some photos when I get back.

Well what a weekend…
Saturday saw my triumphant return to the baseball field with the mighty JCU Manta Rays. We won of course 12:1 with a great individual effort from yours truly, contributing 2 double hits (for 4 RBIs), a walk, an assist to first and a put out at second. Not bad for first game [...]

Had a pretty quiet long weekend. Three of the last four weeks have had long weekends, this one for Labour Day. And it doesn’t stop there, the Queens birthday one is on the 9th of June.
Anyway, despite not getting a great deal of work done I did manage to fix my car on Saturday morning. [...]
