dusty hole in the ground
Townsville is a real hole sometimes!
It hasn’t rained for several months and the dust is everywhere, it just blows in off the desert and gets on everything. The sand at the beach is dusty. The water is brown and my car needs washing every week.
What a hole! Mind you, it is pretty warm at the moment!
I’ve been working away on my PhD, writing my lit review actually, which is going ok (5000 words so far! = about half of it).
Zoe has given notice that she’s going to leave her job. She’s not sure what she’s going to do so she’s a little stressed out. Which SUCKS!
We’re heading out to Tae cos or something at the Civic Theatre. Apparently it’s a japanese drumming show. Sounds ok.
Tomorrow we’re going to get over to Magnetic Island if the weather is not too windy and go to Yoga, lay on the beach and try to relax, should be cool.
