Nikon returned.
I got my camera back yesterday. Yey for me!
It was at the Nikon hospital waiting for parts from Japan. Luckily it was all covered by warranty (the grip and tripod seat pads had come off (due to the heat up here I think).
Anyway it’s fixed now and I’ve got some photos of my aquarium to show for it. The problem is that the fish don’t stay still for long enough.
It’s come a long way since I first set it up but things have been slow and I’m not going to do much more until I get back next year. Hopefully the system won’t crash when we go away. I’ve got to organise for someone to come and look after the fish.
I also got a speeding fine when I was in the field. Outside the Fisheries Falls BP, where there’s an 80 zone. I was doing 94km/h and it looks as though it’s going to cost me $150. Lame! It’ll be the second I’ve got in Qld. Post your suggestions for letters on the right
