Wellington
Well, here we are in sunny-windy wellington. The locals were enjoying the summer heatwave yesterday when the temperature soared to a balmy 20 degrees celcius. Crazy.
We’ve been staying with Zoe’s friend Ves and hanging out with her and her boyfriend Dave. We’ve been shopping, to the national tattoo museum, to the clubs, out to eat and to the botanic gardens.
New year’s eve was pretty low-key, a bit of a faux-bbq at Dave’s place and then home for a nap until 11:30. Up for the fireworks (which didn’t eventuate) and then out to a local club for a couple of drinks courtesy of Ves’ work. Cool.
Probably going to leave here on Saturday and start making our way up to Taupo.
