Money can’t buy happiness, but it sure can buy tasty dips, binoculars and liverock. All of which come in handy when it’s your birthday.

The momentous day was celebrated with a surprise picnic down by the strand. Zoe had gone into stealth mode earlier in the week, getting my phone when I was in the shower, pillaging it for phone numbers and calling my friend while I remained oblivious. Nice work.

I was also lucky enough to receive a box of live rock from mum and dad. The tank now looks pretty amazing. So many nooks and crannies for the fish to play in.
