Data data everywhere
I finally finished off the vast majority of my database construction and data entry yesterday. This means that i can quickly and relatively efficiently enter data, search it and export it to Excel.
Then, in Excel, I built a series of worksheets that will allow me to just drop data from the database searches onto them and automatically calculate some basic statistics and prepare tables for final statistical analysis.
(If none of that makes sense… I just saved myself about 6mths work (albeit by doing about 3mths work, o.k. so 3mths. Still, not to be laughed at :))
