Our newest Australian
There was a small flag-waving celebration last night as Zoe became the newest Australian to grace this wonderful continent. The mayor was there and everything.
We then went to The Australian hotel on Palmer St (how appropriate) for a couple of VBs (we decided that XXXX was a bit too Oz).

“In the Mulgrave River, river levels are high and continuing to rise around Gordonvale, south of Cairns. Water levels are just over the Bruce Highway bridge at Gordonvale. Flood levels in this area are expected to fluctuate at high levels during today causing major flooding in the lower Mulgrave.”
This is good news.
