I’m back in the lab, having returned from a triumphant field trip to the north. It’s a little on the chemically-side…
Zoe’s friend Fran arrives next tuesday, closely followed by Duncan and then Andy and Bob (allegedly; i haven’t heard the details yet) later in July. Should be good to have some ‘new’ people up here.
Fran has actually visited before, last year when we were at our old place). Back then we had no furniture or anything. I think she’ll be amazed at the amount of nesting that we’ve been able to complete in such a short time 
In other news I finally got a quote for the repairs to my digital camera (you may have noticed the paucity of new images over the last few months). Apparently it needs a new lens and lubing and screws etc… They sound like they’re dodgy mechanics. And they charge $110/hr labour. Holy shite!. So all up I’m looking at $450. Not sure what to do yet…
