Dunk-man does NQ II

I collected dunk from the airport a week ago, and promptly got in an altercation with another driver in the carpark. The guy in the large 4WD heading straight at us had disobeyed the very clear signage, but was particularly stubborn. I had to reverse and let him past, not that I was annoyed at all - it was just a bit inconvenient. Anyway, as he drove past he asked if I’d like to “jump out, smartarse?”. Welcome to FNQ, hey? I replied “nice one, dickhead”, and we were away on our whirlwind tour of the north.

We took in the sights of Magnietic Island, Cairns, Cape Trib, and the Tablelands. We ate at the Gordonvale pub. Saw a cassowary, a snake and some Musky Rats and got sunbrunt. Oh yeah, and we also drank XXXX, what more could you ask for really?

Here’s some photos Dunk’s visit I- people, II -places (dial-up bewar-ish).

Belated thanks must also go to Mum for making the trip possible, and for organising and funding the safe return of my digital camera!!! Thanks MA! :)
