Olympic parlance
To adopt the parlance in use by Olympic commentators, the mighty JCU baseball team “bowed out of the competition after an impressive display…” We went down fighting 8-5 against the competition’s 2nd place holder the Feds.
Australia also lost it’s last game against Canada but was able to “secure a berth in the semifinals” against Japan (who they beat 9-4 in the preliminary rounds).
There was also a Multiple Birthday Party on Friday night at Karin and Lewis’ place. A good time was had by all, especially those getting presents
