Thank you come again
Andy and Bob flew out of Townsville on Sunday. It was great to catch up with them and hang out for a few days, drink some beers and swap some tales.
Aren’t we a happy bunch?
I went straight to baseball, to find that I was the 8th player (there are 9 on the field, though). We played really well, leading 4 - 2 in the third innings. But then it kind of fell apart, a few errors, combined with a change of the opponents pitcher and suddenly the score was 8 - 4. We never managed to come back, finding only 1 extra run in the last few innings. The highlight of the game was Koby’s nice home run to left field, while the Chennel 9 camera crew were filiming too! There’s one more game in a fortnight and then it’s finals time!
In other news, Zoe and I might head off on a little camping foray this weekend. We’ll see how things go. I also haven’t had any response to my news that I’ll be in Sydney on the 16th of September. Obviously nobody likes me anymore….
