New puppy, new camera…

In an hormonally-induced moment, Zoe purchased a new puppy. Say hello to the very cute Cork

Zoe also bought me a very nice Minolta AL-F rangefinder at a garage sale. It seems to work perfectly, but I’ve only shot 10 frames, so I guess we’ll see.

Will and I went to the Boat Show and came back full of enthusiasm and dreams of massive boats and fishing adventures. We also heard a talk on mackerel fishing which was really interesting, but also kind of annoying as you really need a boat to catch them…

I went for a fish last night to see what was about. I got completely tangled and lost a lure to a mangrove. I did manage to get a nice sunset photo, with my Nikon Coolpix 5000, though:

    Townsville is famous! There is a photo in today’s SMH of some Cowboy NRL players on top of Castle Hill with Townsville in the background.
    I can tell it’s Townsville because I think I can see Cork barking in the background :)
