mmmm… surfing
Surfing (i.e. waveriding) is fun. So far I’ve been for two surfs, both on the northern beaches. Despite a lack of good sand banks and poor tides, we’ve managed to claim a few waves. Some kook dropped in on me, but I guess you have to expect that from a complete wanker!
We’ve also been driving around in my cousin Pete’s car. It’s a bogan holden with a “Beer, not just a breakfast drink” sticker on the back. Quite embarrasing. The car does, however, have a saving grace. You can use a microphone in the car to talk through the horn speaker. This allows for quite amusing drives around. The favourite line, thought up by Zoe of course, is “Sha-ka-khan, Sha-ka-khan”, after the Simpsons episode when Homer drives around doing a similar thing.

Apparently it’s actualy Shaka Khan, who was a rap/hip-hop producer in the 80s.
