Perseverance pays off

Zoe and I headed over to Maggie for the weekend, to recoup the free accommodation that we won last year. The resort was super-nice and super-free! Love it.

I spent the early mornings fishing. I finally had some results and put the new reel (that dunk got me for my birthday) to good use!

I captured this hard-fighting GT on saturday morning, off the flats in Nelly Bay harbour on Magnetic Island;

On a shrimp pattern I tied myself the night before, no less!

Also pulled in about 8 tiny fingermark off the beach at west point.

We’ve also got a new look here at tomandzoe.com so you might find that some things are a bit broken while we sort out the details.
