Guest reporters
Over the last few weeks there has been some healthy discussion over a range of subjects. I personally find this very enthusing. So, I’m proposing a series of guest reporter slots. I’m thinking that each week we could have a different person post something about the world at large - or the world at small.
So, think you can write off-the-top-of-your-head prose? Think you can prepare a couple of words on your favourite subject and relate them to other people? Think you can entertain with wit, style and flair?… Don’t worry, neither do I. But, if you’re interested in posting on www.tomandzoe.com, then here’s your chance.
Applications are now officially open. The first week will be that starting Monday, 28th March. Leave a comment with the subject of your proposed post and whether you think a democratic vote, or a tyrannical decision should determine who wins. A prize? Well don’t know… what do you think?
e.g.
Name: Tom
Title: Where the remote?
Who wins: Tyranny please.
Prize suggestion: Free advertising banner for the winner.
No censorship will be entered into ![]()

That is gold. Let me travel through life for the next few days with a view to translating certain views/experiences into a blog for all to share. This could be interesting as I am about to embark on a banking conference at Jupiters Casino - giddyup!

Perhaps to mark the passing of Hunter S. Thompson a couple of weeks ago, Phil, you could provide us with a ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’/ Gonzo Journalism-style account on your time in sunny Brisvegas chasing The Australian Dream, mixing narcotic cocktails and trashing rented Cadilacs? (I apologise for the inclusion of punctuation, Thompson would dissaprove.)

Phil, there’s gold already in holding the banking conference in the casino. I think Lachlan has provided a great outline. Look forward to it.

Hunter S:
There’s a thread on life after death on this blog you might want to contribute to.

So there’s only one contestant so far, that’s just great. Nobody can think of anything? (not to dis Phildo at all…)

No dis taken. So what is the go - in what form should my entry take? A comment? Mind you I still need to give it some thought as despite the initial anticipation it was a reasonably unexciting conference

I think you should email it to me and I’ll post it on your behalf - then people can comment on it as a separate entity.
