It’s FREEZING!
well, we are definately aclimatised to the tropics, people.
I’m sleeping under a feather duvet, and I even slept the other night with full length, almost-fleecy pants on. On the way to work from uni I began to think about jackets and scarves, and at my desk all day Ive been huddling over cups of herbal tea and shivering, looking out over the rain and wind across the river.. it was really sleeting and grey, not at all a tropical downpour.
I’m dreading going swimming tonight, I’ll die of hyperthermia and have to be buried with a crutch (how sad).
At least I got to go dancing one last time - Cat Empire on Saturday night: everyone said “yeah, I’ll probably sit outside for some of the night, I can keep you company” but the music was too infectious and nobody sat outside. I didn’t either, I danced with all my weight on one leg, and smacked drunk people with my stick when they tried to do their wild drunk dance too close to the only 2 sober people in the room; Min and I. I didnt go to the after party, but Maz told the Cat Empire “my firend has a sore leg, and she wasnt going to dance, but she danced the whole night!”. I think they were impressed.

Zoe, Zoe Zoe. Tut, tut, tut. If you can dance like a woman possessed then you can definitely come walking with us on Hinchinbrook. Perhaps we’ll get the Cat Empire on the beach in Zoe Bay pumping some toones.
