Mapview

Ok, this is pretty cool. Greg Collecutt at the UQ physics dept. has put together a small application called Mapview.
This allows you to make 3D models from topographic maps. In a perfect case of, “here’s one I prepared earlier”, Greg has already done Mt Bowen.

Here’s a shot that Zoe took yesterday afternoon on the return trip from Laura. It was taken out the window of Kiki’s car at 100km/hr. Not a bad effort if you ask me.
