Australian Institute of Making Sausages

What a weekend! Amongst other things, Sunday saw us visit AIMS, who were throwing an open day. Seeing as they have so many German nationals on their staff at the moment, we’ve started calling it the Australian Institute of Making Sausages.

Here are some marine biologists (we patted them and one even signed my boobs) making sausages…

Here’s the dock where the meat arrives…

This is Zoe hoping to catch a glimpse of a marine biologist in the carpark…

And here’s Piers, a friend of mine who is a marine biology student posing with Zoe and another friend.

Really? I had mine with a Dugong steak, served in a Green Turtle half-shell, on a bed of nemo-mash, with a side of Ulva and some Potato Cod chips - all topped with a jus of baby seals and shark fins.
