yes, and some of the rock jumps were highly marginal - approaching the sketchy and ridiculous.

Good call Phil. I think that a guest report is in order from Hinchinbrook, or as those who dominated Nina Peak twice in an hour like to call it, “the little hill on the island”.. We were indeed dominant, despite what Jodi and assorted Mexicans might like to think, and managed to float across the tracks with 4kg of fortified wine (extra training weight), swim and pelvis thrust off every marginal jump rock we could find, hunter/gather a good bit of tucker and dominate Bowen, all in the space of 6 harsh winter days (sunny, 25-28 degrees C). Nice

“Undominant”? “mearly pretending”? “not get to the summit”? Well I never.

I’m sorry we haven’t yet tortured you all with our incredible, illustrated stories of complete and utter domination of the walking on Hinchinbrook Island, the cooking of fresh-caught fish on the beach and, of course, the total ownership of the summit of Mt Bowen (as if there was ever any doubt).

I just picked up all of my slides yesterday and will email some scans to Tomo for inclusion in The Full Report which will no doubt be a marination of your visual senses in the beauty and grandure of the great Hinchinbrook Island.

this is a rant from a very disappointed parent.
Here we have spent the past six months vicariously enthusiastic about the Hinchinbrook challenge and domination — and not a word.
Did you all have a dreadful time?
Did you all really NOT get to the summit of Mt Bowen and are now just too undominant to come clean with the audience?
Without any other evidence one can only assume that you spent the week lounging around at the resort, drinking beers and merely pretending to be dominant.
Has it come to this?
