Surfing in Townsville?

Well, after 2 and half years I’ve had my first surf in Townsville. Paul (my office mate), Zoe and I caught the ferry over to Maggie and did the mission walk into the surf spot. We were greeted by 1-2ft onshore wind-chop slop. Gnarly!~
