Waiting for the onslaught
well, Tom, Timtim, Locks and Kiki and Ellen are happily trudging (presumably: we hope theyre happily trudging, and not lying in a gully somewere with broken legs, counting down the days till Friday night when I notice they’re not back in Townsville as scheduled and call the wstpac rescue helli) in their own filth all over Hinchy, leaving a very quiet apartment at 205.
but not for long! the onslaught of people is due: Ves arrives from NZ today, Kath from Sydney tomorrow and then (hopefully not via WRH) the Hinchy dominators get back, just in time for a party with 30-60 of our closest friends on Saturday night. This will be the first realy party we have thrown at the flat, which isn’t the most suited to party throwing, especially in terms of space.
Other than worrying that the floor will collapse, crashing everyone on top of some very bewildered and angry monkeys, I am also worrying about:
- not making enough food
- not having anything to wear
- none of the guests turning up
- all the guests turning up, and us having no way of having them inside or outside
- none of the guests liking each other and then hating us for inviting them
- all the guests liking ech other so much, and staying all night chatting, never letting our houseguests go to bed
- being old and boring and wanting to go to sleep at 11.30pm
other than that, it should be fun!

I’ll be in townsville in 19 hours!!
The party’s going to be awesome Zoe! It’s all going to be sweet, we’ll get the boys to organise everything on Saturday since we’ve been working all week while they’ve been lazing around on the beach.
Dave - why are the boys calling you and not calling their gorgeous ladies?? What’s up with those hombres? Take tomorrow off work and fly up to TSV with me in the morning! See you at 7.15am at the airport - there are still seats available on the flight…

The Monkeys are going to hate you guys after this party considering how they felt about kiki’s party. Don’t worry though if anything starts up I’ll talk to them and calm things down a bit.
