10 859 words and counting
Yesterday I submitted the first draft of my first chapter to my supervisor. At a total of 10 859 words, I’m about 10% of my way to completing my thesis. I’ve got until the 1st of February next year, which is when my money runs out, so I’m on target. I’m half way through chapters 2 and 3 too, so they should be done by the time I fly out on the 7th of Sept.

That’s 52 words for every 1km ridden by me and Timtim last weekend. Dominant! We were riding 1km about every 3mins 10 seconds so is that how long it takes you to pucnch out 52 words? At that rate you’d have written 100,000 words in 4 days 6 hours 33mins and 36 seconds. Now that’s domination.
PS: Don’t forget - hardisks die very sorry deaths and are especially prone to failure when full of irreplacable work. Backup, backup, backup!
