Global resonance

Shortly following this statement from Lock:

We’d love to hear from YOU, yes YOU about YOUR contributions to the IMD, remembering, of course, that the IMD is not an insular, closed-door club, it has global reach, global ramifications and global resonance.

August IS the International Month of Domination! Step to it small men!

Rusty sent me this email a few moments ago, with this picture attached. For his efforts he becomes the first entry in a new photo gallery: Domination.

Tommy my boy, it’s great to hear from you!

After my N. Territory adventure w/my parents, I arrived back in the U.S. on the 30th of June. Two days later I was back out in the field in SE Utah, catching bats (camping out in a cave) for 8 days. After a few more days in Albuquerque, spent w/my friends from High School and a random girl or two, I returned to the field to do some radio-tracking of an endangered nectar eating bat. Next, after 4 days at home, I went on a canoeing/camping trip in the NorthWoods of Minnesota with friends of mine from college. It was all great, but after that I drove out to California (on sunday) and started football camp the next day.

Throughout it all I have been representing the Gordonvale Singlet, and Dominating to the best of my ability (setting two new bat catching records (135 individuals in one night), carrying my own pack as well as the heavy pack of an overburdened older woman while tracking bats, hooking up with two girls in a short time frame, doublepacking and running during the canoe portages, and enjoying myself all the while—just like you.)

Hope your thesis and Zoe are both doing fantastically.

Hit me back brotha.

Love,
Rusty Ligon.
