In the shadow of Rusty
John and I have just spent 3 lovely days in the hinterland of Port Macquarie. Some of the country’s best national parks and wilderness areas are being safely kept by NPWS in beautiful condition.
We saw nobody on any of our three walks in Middle Brother NP, Werrikembee and Willi Willi NP and Crowdy Bay NP. Boiled the billy.
Really need 4WD to see the more remote parts which look very enticing from our Mickey Mouse 4WD.
Wonderful flowers, enormous trees and a spectacular forest of Antarctic Beech.
Stayed in $25pp pub at Long Flat and then at more expensive hotel in Port M.
John thought he would emulate the fabulous Rusty - if only to wobble astride the sign and feign dominance.

Not only did I dominate national parks picnic areas but, like Rusty, I carried the day pack over an overburdened older woman (she happened to be doing the same walks as me
).

have you been picking up strays YLD?

That is very dominant. To show such ownership at a relatively (compared to Tom) mature stage of your life is admirable - I do not know if my domination could last as long. I am now inspired to prolong - anything is possible!

It’s genetic! You either have it or you don’t

I am told that you are reluctant to relate some of your more dominant stories. Now is the time, make a submission to the annals.

Phildo, everyone’s mature compared to me.

I’m suprised no one else is concerned how technically perfect that stradling technique is.
however I am concerned, very concern. Especially in light of this whole genetic thing!
