I booked a trout and salmon fishing adventure with Alaska Trout Outfitters tomorrow. I get 5 hours guided salmon fishing on the Russian River for US$150, which isn’t too bad.
I also bought myself some new gortex waders (there an investment in my future - i.e. tomorrow ) at the princely sum of US$230.
