tomandzoe.com - live from the northside

well, since everyone is both hanging out for a new post, and giving me crap for the lack of zoe you get for your dollar on tomandzoe.com (just like all cabbage and no chicken in a chiko roll, hey, Locks and Kath?), SO; here we are home in the ‘ville again.

Sydney was sweet, it was awesome seeing everyone, and enjoying the weather - ok, not that we’ve been complaining here yet, but it was actually nice to be cool - plus shopping (thanks to tolerant and tireless Rob and Tom), bbq-ing, drinking, eating and a certain Sutherland&Associates v Rayner&Associates football rivalry on Sunday night…. poor Cowboys, eh?

And of course: Andy and Bob’s wedding was cute as, we all thought they were adorable, and we had lots of fun talking to random people who hadn’t seen Tom since he was 6, and Aunty Beryl, who wisely stated that 2.30pm after several champagnes was a time best spent napping. Props to the Foster and Whight whanaus for putting on a great event. Tom can put some piccies/videos up later, so you can all go “Aaaawwww, soooo cuuuute!!!”

Oh, and I got Tom back, too. so that’s cool. John, Rob, Dunks and I all went to the airport, I wore my new TOM YUM GAI t-shirt, which causes a bit too much chest-staring, which, like, I wasn’t having a problem with already. Lauryne - yours is in production, baby!

Since we got back: Kiki has slathered herself head to toe in the delivered Lush products, Tom and Clwedd have had to clean up an entire fish tank disaster/flood in their office with only one small hand towel, and I got my cabinet submission (for politics class) back - distinctions for both presentation and paper, Karin is going mad getting all her work finished before she heads off to dominate Mt Bowen (take 2) and then Adelaide (sp?) and everyone else is much the same. oh, and Manda comes to visit soon. so there… all the news you ever wanted to know… oh, and following the success of the recent Pirate Afternoon Tea, the Greatest Ever Comm Devt Lawn Bowls Contest is coming soon! keep your eyes glued to this spot for results!
