and now for something completely different, I have had a fair leave of absence from the comments section here. Perhaps a few days R&R in the office could rectify the situation. I believe that Kath was going to give us a guest report (as team captain) from our weekend’s jaunt to Canberra for the Mont 24hr MTB race. Possibly with photos for the “in the shadows of domination” retrospective. If only we had the singlets…
well really I have bee doing lots and lots of field work in the last 3 weeks and then when I get back that translates to lots and lots of lab work and reporting. A lame excuse I know..
It’s raining today and I’m inside doing lab work and logs and shoving so much food down my gut it’s not funny. I am still getting these massive sugar cravings, must be a 3 day defecit I tell you..
Yes, I too have been waning on the comment front of late but that is mainly due to the fact that I have moved desks to work on another project for a few months and am now sitting next to a bunch of stiffs who would not tolerate looking across to see me blogging away - happy. Instead they try to crush my spirit with endless red-penned mark-ups. Until I return to real work where my opinion is valued at the end of the year I will have to be consoled by our domination of the Mont 24 hr MTB race last weekend. We ended up in 11th place in the Mixed 4’s category. That’s the 11th best mixed team in the country people (the Mont is effectively the national enduro championships). Give it up! Props to us. As Timtim mentioned we will have pics and full report soon but I have to get my film processed first. ‘Till then.
hello! Im assuming none of you have had to write an annual report up to council.. going over the past year’s crap when you’re already up to your neck in this year’s crap (and having to write it in report-talk) is like being buried by a ton of golden syrup and dying, it’s that tedious.
and it includes multiple, multiple, multiple, inflinity-multiple red pen-marked versions.

October 12th, 2005 at 7:06 pm
If you’d done the drawings and reports right in the first place there wouldn’t be any mark ups!
