so, uni’s almost over. how depressing.. another 13 weeks has almost totally sped by, Ive never caught up on my readings (thats what swot vac is for, right?) and all the assignments are due, like, now. so, of course I’m not procrastinating at all!

went to a meeting this afternoon for prospective honours students.. yes yes, I know it’s a bit far ahead for me, but my lecturers kept asking me if I was going, and I thought it would be good to find out what the deal is etc. Yikes! they gave a few people a fright, warning them (as they’re trying to get them to decide to stay on next year) that they’ll need a top tier first class honours to get a APA to go on to do a ph.d. and that we should all start thinking about projects now (glad I went to the meeting! at least I’ll have another year to think about it!).

in other news: the B=grade BBallers lost, much to Tom’s dissapointment, and the grand season presentation night is tomorrow, in the illustrious and modern Pimlico Suburban Bowls Club, or something of similar impression. I do hope they have bundy and coke on tap.

Cambridge Park Re-development is being unveiled on Sunday, with the cryptic “come have a slice of the Cambridge Park Cake” tagline sure to draw a big crowd. will post photos after sunday, so you can see what I mean.

Tom (and everyone else in tropical biology) is putting together his BZONQ talk, oh, and writing up, so as you can imagine, it’s all play and no work at ours. Oh! did I say that? I meant all work and no play, of course!
