Can’t stop progress.
What is the deal with stupid developers? How do they get away with ridiculous development applications?
Here’s one I saw today. If you looked between the signs you could see a pair of Jabiru, with a juvenile too. Not to mention the 50-odd spoonbills using this little dam as habitat.

I guess a ‘brownie’ would argue that the birds wouldn’t have anywhere to live if not for that dam. On the other hand, if they’d left the water in the local creek (100m away, now dry) then the birds wouldn’t need the damn dam.

i don’t know, i’m not sure where tsv ends and the gowa begins. i keep thinking that the gowa is an amorphous blob about to engulf townsville - a bit of inter-city-phagocytosis.

Tom: I think the folk at TCC will disagree with your description of the gowa…
Good luck with your thesis!!! I’ll be sure to have a few G&T’s on the shores of Thailand and Vietnam for you! ahhhh yeah!
