Kustom Complaint
This is the letter I sent to Kustom Footwear in south-east Queensland this morning. In Townsville, we take thongs very seriously.
To Whom It May Concern:
RE: FAULTY KUSTOM SILVERADO (4951203A)
I recently purchased a pair of Brown Kustom Silverado Men’s Open-Toe shoes (4851203A) from a retailer in Cairns.
However, after about three months of normal wear the product failed, the leather strap breaking where it connects to the upper.
Having paid the recommended retail price of $49.95 I am very disappointed. I was under the impression that your product would be durable. After all, your website proclaims that your shoes are “purpose built footwear”.
Unfortunately, I am left wondering for what exact purpose this footwear was built – obviously not walking! I have had $2 ‘pluggers’ that have lasted me four times as long.
I have included the product with my letter and strongly urge you to replace the faulty goods free of charge.
Yours truly,
Thomas Rayner.

If you have ‘Pluggers’ why did you need any other footwear?

Have you seen the size of his feet? (If he stands with his heels against the bar in Cairns, his toes are in the Gordonvale pub!)

That’s the pot calling the kettle black, if ever I’ve heard it.
Hey, at least I’m not going to Bourke for xmas!

Bourke is really hip compared to where he is actually going
December 14th, 2005 at 2:58 pm
It’s the big-smoke bro.

hip is where I put my hands when I am not impressed and also a word used by silver nomads who were once referred to as hippies. I believe that hip is the last thing Bourke is, Hot as a MoFo definitely http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN65092/IDN65092.94703.shtml

Check out the humidity in Bourke, Tom. You could do with some of that.
December 14th, 2005 at 3:45 pm

December 15th, 2005 at 10:54 am
I expect you sea them horsing around
December 15th, 2005 at 10:58 am

December 15th, 2005 at 11:00 am
these guys are training a seahorse.
December 15th, 2005 at 11:04 am
i guess they want to release him back into the wild.
don’t worry, they give them adequate gear…
December 15th, 2005 at 11:52 am
Looks definitely like an Equus Snorkellus to me
December 15th, 2005 at 12:14 pm
Hahaha nice! I wouldn’t show that to the PETA people though.
The syngnathids are actually doing quite well. I had my intro presentation for the project last monday and it went well. Plus, I finally got my meager funding last week and finally mailed the mess of forms to you. Let me know what you think when you get them.
In other news, the singlet is going to get some action tomorrow when I wear it to my last final (stream ecology). It’s supposed to dump on us, so hopefully it’ll see some drunk sledding as well.

If you’re bored…
check out “Traying”,

then imagine it combined with heavy drinking,
and the slope in the background,
