Peeing in a bottle
Sometimes people are discovered. Unearthed. Single mothers who have battled all their life are suddenly found to have angelic voices, are whisked away, given some training and a few gowns, and, hey presto, a four record contract. For me, I think it’s time that the tomandzoe.com readership was told that my skill is peeing in a bottle. Recently I’ve been ‘keeping up my fluids’. This means drinking a lot, and, of course, peeing a lot. So, as I’m at home with not much to do, I’ve made up a little game. Do a big pee and then try to break that record. Unfortunately, I think my career might be quite short - I think I peaked in the hospital in the first few days. I managed a pee of about 1.25L, now I’m back down around 400mL. Easy come, easy go, I suppose.
I’ve also found the time/strength to post up some photos of my time in hospital. Last night we thought it would be good to have a party when I’m better. The theme could be heros. People could come dressed as paramedics, helicopter pilots, superheros, nurses, surgeons, mostly-naked Canadian exchange students etc… etc… Here are the photos.

hahhaahhah. you’re trying to look like ‘poor, sad tom’ in the last photo but you have some sweet gormet food in front of you… I think you are being taken care of very well
(not that I had any doubts about that with the hardcore cooking skills of zoe and both your parents!)
see you soon, micacle-boy

Dude,
That story is extreme, a spot of bad luck to say the least. At least you have kept up your humor. I like to say (when I’m getting all drunk and preachy) that its how we handle the crappy situations in life that define our character. Anyone can be happy when times are good but its when shit goes wrong you kind of get a feel for how you really stack up as an individual. You feeling me, Bro?
Anyways best of luck, get well and all that Jazz
