The stinky Skunks are still at it - stinking. They’ve lost their last two outings in frustrating form. I played last week, when we were up against a team with one atheletic guy. I was getting annoyed because I’m new to the sport and have enough trouble dealing with the myriad of illogical rules, let alone annoying members of the opposition. We lost the first quarter by 12 points (a sort of netball armegeddeon if you don’t know the game), making it very hard for us to get back in the game.

Yesterday they went down again, without my help this time, losing by a single point because one of the ring-in players wasn’t wearing a Skunks shirt. He was still wearing a black shirt, but with different print. During the game it’s covered by the bib, so it doesn’t even impact on the play. I think Lauryne, the captain, will probably be having a mental health day today.

Andy was also kind enough to update this site, giving us more functionality, more fluff and more fun. Thanks Andy.
