What’ll they think of next?
I’ve been catching up on some light science reading over at the abc, getting back into the swing of things to complete my own seminal work (my due date is now 31 July, right in time for IMDII), and I’ve been reading some crazy stuff.
Testing how far small snails can be blown.
>16km, if you’re wondering.
Using pigeons to blog air quality.
More landslides with climate change.
Fishermen using dolphin meat to catch sharks!
That’s really crazy - catching a dolphin would be hard.
Hypochondria rates high in Aussies.
Maybe I’m imagining this whole broken leg thing? “It is generally estimated that only a third of patients who visit a general practitioner have a condition that is purely physical.” I think we’ve already established this at www.tomandzoe.com
Also, check out the Greenhouse Death Calculator to work out the age at which you should die, given your resource use. I should’ve died at 10. Flying to Alaska in the last year didn’t help

This is the best post I’ve ever read on this website. The author should be congratulated and taken offerings of magazines, beer, and fishing dvds.
