I’m heading into the field tomorrow, for a post-TC Larry survey of the Mulgrave River. It should be interesting to see the devestation first hand, even if it has been dulled by a couple of months of cleaning up. I wonder if the fish will be around, or if they’ve been washed downstream?
Zoe and I had a pretty chilled out weekend, hanging around the house, cleaning up, doing work and then watching the Eurovision Song Contest last night. Zoe worked on Saturday at the Wonderbus Japan event in Riverside Gardens.
I went for a ride on the Velodrome on Saturday, which was fun–and a bit scary. I got a lesson from the Townsville Cycling Club president, on one of the club bikes, for free. There were some crazy 4 yr old kids riding around on bikes that were too big for them, which was pretty funny. Unsurprisingly, my leg is aching today…
