Dominating 101

This morning my IMD2 odometer clicked over to 101.15km - right on track for 500 by the end of the month. The Pacemaker was looking extra fast, with it’s new Dominators stickers and the IMDC Stamp of Approval. LockMan arranged for a limited print-run of the stickers, which are white on clear vinyl. They come with a sweet user-guide and a 5 year outdoor warranty.

They are available for your dominating pleasure here, at the lowly price of $3 each.

The interesting thing about this IMD, when compared to last year, is that so many more people are dominating. All over the place people are choosing goals and getting to it. YLM is getting her bike out, YLD is learning to fly, Dunc is getting large, LockMan and timtim are going in an endurance mountain bike race, Lewis is doing an adventure race and so on… Karin said she was going to land a jump on her kite board, but she’s just headed to Brisbane for “I don’t know how long”, so we’ll see.

The funniest thing, however, is the heavy banter between Dunc and his mates, who have decided that pursuing the ladies is their goal. This from Milo, who was complaining about the lack of success at The Ranch [which I recall visiting while it was still El Rancho]:

You are somewhere in between “hitting the nail on the head” and “completely missing it and hitting your thumb”. Last night would have been a good start if it was called “International Mediocre Attempt at Success Month”, but its not.

Whilst a few reasonable starts were made by all, no-one managed to “meet President Bush” - J. Cunnliffe. An important point to consider is that the pursuit of a girl to share ones thoughts and body fluid with, is an individual affair and does not require a personal ‘entourage’ supplying highly opinionated strategies of courtship in between each remarkably similar RNB track(Dave). Who cares if I pretend that I think Illinois is in Europe, its just a bit of fun?

Having visited the doctor (in attempt to break my current cycle of aimlessness) this morning who stated “You need a girlfriend!”, I’m going to have to obey her orders, this time swapping the american exchange students, filthy losers and RNB of The Ranch, for the tight black jeans, uber-cool and late late night indie of Purple Sneakers tomorrow night.

Finally I’ll leave you with a completely irrelevant Kenyon quote- “the road to success begins with one step”

May the Dominating continue!

I wonder if Milo thinks ‘Kenyo’ is in Europe too?

  2. tom says:

He’s a guy they went to school with. He may or may not be in Europe at this time :)

Just did a ‘workout’ with Milo…we also did some exercise too, a.. ha.. ha..ha *cough*, and he just talked himself back into visiting Purple Sneakers tonight. Anyone in Syd only needs to look outside to see how mcuh of mission going into the city from Wahroonga would be tonight.

Still, he said “Fuck it! It’s only IMD once a year and I ain’t gonna get any cute, trendy, one star cons wearing, tight black jean sporting, alternative brunette sitting around at home. Its time to dominate!!!”

He was trying to convince me to join him. Alas, we have different goals for IMD2.

  7. zoe says:

duncs, don’t be so harsh - I don’t think YLD actually IS a Private Bag

  8. YLD says:
