Sanctuary Zones

This is my temporary home in Shoal Bay. It’s pretty old-school, but it’s about 500m from Box Beach.
Outside there’s a large boat, but it doesn’t have any rod-holders ’cause my flatmate is a spearfisher.

Well, I’ve finally done it - I’ve finished my thesis. I will be printing this evening and posting it tomorrow! Hooray for me.

The lady who took the photo said she had a PhD in photography - “Push here Dickhead”.

Fox bites wallaby

Yesterday afternoon, on the way home from work, I shot this clip of a fox attacking a wallaby on the road to Taylors Beach, near the Port Stephens research centre. It’s like the Serengetti around here!
