Sanctuary Zones

This is my temporary home in Shoal Bay. It’s pretty old-school, but it’s about 500m from Box Beach.
Outside there’s a large boat, but it doesn’t have any rod-holders ’cause my flatmate is a spearfisher.
After work we sit on the porch, have a drink (or two) and watch the world go by. The Rainbow Lorikeets fly at full speed between the side of the house and the post on the corner of the porch.
The roof is a nice peach colour. My flatmate calls it “Sanctuary Zone Pink”, after the colour-scheme on the local marine park maps.
Inside, there’s two recliners, a pressure cooker full of stew, a pot with rice welded to the bottom (my flatmate assures me he can cook ‘the best rice’, but that remains to be seen), a fridge full of beer and a freezer with some fish.
Despite the massive aerials attached to the roof, we only get ABC. This will, obviously, have to change soon, on account of there’s an upcoming Ashes series.
The only thing this place doesn’t have is a BBQ - that too will have to change.
