Censorship
I haven’t been updating regularly. This is frustrating. Unfortunatley, I can’t go into the details - suffice to say that there has been some behind the scenes maneuvering (i.e., censorship) which has left a slightly bitter aftertaste.
Having left Townsville and moved into a role which will no doubt begin to attract more attention (public and otherwise) over the next few years, I feel a strong need to take a more sensible approach to blogging. Specifically, I’ve seen several public figures get into trouble recently over their personal blogs.
It’s a bit of a conundrum for me. On one hand I hate the thought of not being able to speak my mind, but on the other hand I would prefer to avoid embarrassing others (obviously not too worried about embarrassing myself). I also feel a responsibility to keep the site going, ’cause even without regular updates, tomandzoe.com receives in excess of 40 000 hits a month.
So, what to do? I think I’ll power on, especially as the third International Month of Domination: Great Success, is on the horizon! I may just need to be more careful with the content and the rants. Perhaps some new photos are in order?

I think you are pretty safe unless you are thinking of going into politics and then it is too late anyway as they go back YEARS and there would be enough content in previous blog entries to give talk back radio a field day!

does that mean I have to be censored too? maybe t&z.com could become completely anonymous? but anonandanon.com doesn’t have quite the same ring, does it?

You three were just so lucky to get that great weather on Hinchinbrook - when we were by there last week it was, as usual, cloud covered and showery - don’t think I have ever seen it as you did.
Back here, we have been thinking about IMD 111 (or is it IMD3?) - is there a theme this year or are we looking at achievements we have set for ourselves?

The theme for IMD3 is Great Success.
timtim, give us a break, it’s hard enough to see you in real life, let alone in that picture (small man).

Ah, the compromises and politics of daily life. There are odd occasions, well most days actually, when I have to restrain myself from pointing out, in mono-syllablic terms (and why are there so many syllables in “mono-syllablic?) so that they could understand it, that various people in authority at work are blithering idiots who couldn’t organise a chook raffle on a Friday night, that their politics should be buried in antiquity, and that they have the social charm of a piranha. Instead of which I just roll my eyes and growl quietly to myself.
And who is the second person in the photo?
