Anatomy of a cold-fella

Mighty brisk up here in old Armidale at the moment. It’s been getting down to -5.5 degrees overnight. Here’s my guide to dressing for the cold (I’m pretty new at this).

What about a bra to house your raging pecs!

Phildo, me ol’ mate, you’d be proud. Since me accident I’ve been rockin’ the ol’ push-ups and riding me bike. Now I’m turnin’ into a bumpkin and keepin’ it real.

Big-up the northside for us southerners, will ya?

p.s. we’ll have to come visit youz notherners sometime soon (Kiki, Roderigo, Ves, Phildo, Uncle Dave et al., etc.).

It looks like you have been squeezin the steel and getting huge - about time!

I am heading to the Greek Islands and Turkey in a couple of days - I will provide an account of the shenanigans when I return from the Ottoman / Cycladian hood!

Do you still do guest reports?

my dear, what do you look like?! I’m sure our retired lady will agree, at this point you could probably just ditch the shorts completely, and get about in the leggings and uggs alone. that’s hot.

hi Phil! yeah, we still do guest reports, but only if you supply pics of yourself in your nighttime attire. xx

  7. Retired Lady says:

Phildo in nightime attire. I can’t wait! :)

  8. Jim Fitz says:

Image is everything in Armidale, Tom - hide your leggings!

  9. Cousin Tim says:

Erk! You look like someone dressed for British summer but with ladies boots on!

Do me a favour and ask YLD for tips. He comes from the frozen true North of our sceptred isle (or something like that). Just don’t let him co-erce you into wearing sandals with socks.

Only messing, but longer trousers & shorter boots would work better. IMO.

I’m keeping tabs on your blog via RSS feed these days. It’s nice to know what’s going on halfway round the world. As the official geekiest Rayner Family member (I don’t think anyone has bested me on this one) I should really have a blog of my own, but somehow never got round to it.
