Push it real good!
In January I set a goal of doing 100 consecutive push-ups by the end of the year. For a few months I did nothing; now Ben and I are on the rampage.
While the most consecutive push-ups that we’ve done is 35 and 30, respectively, we’ve have been doing them almost every day. This means we haven’t ever really been fully rested - we’ve just been sore. Tomorrow I’m going to have another crack and hopefully get to 50.
Zoe tells me that Jim Fitz and his son are on their own program, although I have no more details. Timtim continues to push them out, with 5 sets of 20 the other night (with no training - unless he’s doing a quiet achiever.

So there is another quiet achiever in our midst. Shy Christine from Manitoba (Canada) decided to give the consecutive push ups a go.. 21, 22 then 31 on consecutive days. Look out boys

do you think we need to have a gauntlet night once a week or fortnight? Progress push ups, consecutive to fatigue?

Sounds like fun, although I will now be away until the 2nd June. I’ll send word from the road, along with bird pictures and push-up tallies!

I think we should have no such thing! 100 or busted rotater cuff is my aim, in other news, my IMD is going to be my Marathon training 18 weeks with no more than one Beer a week. gulp.

This morning I busted out a new PB of 55 in a row (with 10 to warm-up). Pretty good, considering how piss weak I’ve been feeling recently.
