oh, right! Duncan had some 'lumps' removed from his right hand earlier in the week, by aforementioned Orthopedic Wizard. both have been confirmed as benign, one ganglion and a some other thing, I forget the name.

he is bandaged, and has some pain, but they have given him good painkillers, and by our powers combined, we are 1.5 people (in limb terms at any rate). I can do the things that require 2 hands (buttering toast, cutting food, taping plastic bags onto hands for showers) and he can do the things that require 2 legs (walking and carrying things, getting up for the phone, bringing in the washing).

we have read magazines, watched several DVDs, some day time TV, and eaten an undisclosed quantity of chocolate. Lex has provided an undisclosed quantity of chocolate, and made pancakes and looked after duncs (between working and sleeping). YLD and YLM have provided significant accommodation and support. horray!

Did I miss a Duncs injury? How come it wasn't worthy of being reported? I await details.
