OMG, the draining tubes were so sore coming out, I cannot even describe. I did vaguely think to take photos of the leg at some point while it still had tubes, but in the end when they unwrapped it all I couldn't even look when they pulled them out. I guess it's less gory when it's not your leg - hence the documentation I was happily snapping of tom's leg wound unwrapping. eww, wound. ow-a! thanks for the well wishes, all..
