The Germans are leaving
Our neighbours, Thilo, Astrid & Elly are leaving. They’re returning to their homeland, swapping the surf for baked delights and Bavarian beers. To celebrate their time downunder, they hosted a German-style BBQ at the Randwick flats on Saturday night. The German-food-that-you-can-get-here-anyway, in particular, was fantastic. Swiss BBQ sausages, white German sausages, Brezeln (like a big soft pretzel crossed with a bagel), Erdinger etc… A great time was had by all - Zoe and I will be sad to see them go.
