I happened upon some common spectacled birdnerds displaying very typical behaviour - check out that unmistakable jiz!
later, I met this very fine fellow
and we had a quiet chat over some morning tea (he was not partial to peanut butter, but liked the crackers very much)

clearly these are the bandy-legged form, often found in groups of
graduated sizes, the smaller ones having added protection around their rumps.

and the larger bandy-legged tend to leave themselves exposed to the tickle
